Get to Know Me

My name is Aaron Byrd and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License #1535).  I received my master's degree through Trevecca Nazarene University. I received my undergraduate from MTSU after studying commercial songwriting and worked in the Nashville music industry for a short while.

Why therapy?  Why did I decide to leave my career in the music industry and pursue a career in therapy?  Because this job is amazing!  Do you know how rewarding it is to work with you?  This job has changed my life in so many ways.  I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to get to know you on a level at which others may not yet know you.  Watching the transformation that happens with my clients feels like magic, but it's really humanity at its very best...which is probably better than magic because it's real.

I absolutely love my job.  I wake up feeling excited about going to work and being able to sit with people through some of their biggest transformations and I do my best to make this passion of mine obvious to anyone who walks into my office.

I currently work full time in my private practice in Spring Hill, TN.  When I'm not at work, I love listening to music, writing songs, being with my friends and family, or learning something new.  I hope you love music because we are probably going to talk about it at some point!  Together we will laugh, and together we will cry.  If you think you know what therapy looks like, I assure you it will look different with me (In a good way, of course!).
